first plain lands on maiduguri since the reopening of the airport

The State Governor, Kashim Shettima, was aboard the aircraft that made its first commercial landing at the airport this afternoon.
                                             After two years of closure due to Boko Haram attacks, theMaiduguri International Airport in Borno State which was re-opened on June 9 recorded first activity today, June 13.
