Tinubu Urged to Recognise Saraki as Senate President

Nigeria Needs Positive Change Group (NNPCG) at the weekend urged the national leader of the
ruling  All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to forget the past and follow the exemplary conduct of the party's national chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun by publicly recognising the emergence of Senator Bukola Saraki as the Senate President.

This, the group said, would add value to the party and also ensure unity and stability of the APC.

The group in a statement by its National Coordinator, Alhaji Mas'ud Adebimpe, a copy of which was made available to THISDAY in Ilorin on Sunday, also appealed to other APC leaders to put the issue of Saraki's election behind them and face the serious job of governance.

The group insisted that the emergence of Saraki and Hon. Yakubu Dogara as Senate President and House of Representatives Speaker "indeed symbolises   the positive change mantra of the APC)".
